We helped make that happen. They wanted a smaller, one-story contemporary/industrial home that was low maintenance and durable with a layout that would allow them to age in place. It had to be beautiful and fun, with lots of transparency. Bold colors and exposed steelwork create the texture of the home and balancing this is pecan and walnut elements from trees from the property.

The lot is steep and heavily treed, so we essentially built an ADA accessible treehouse–street level on the front, floating in the trees in the back.
