While the home was tight, the 7-acre property offered an incredible setting: a beautiful pond, an established garden, and room to expand. We converted the original house into three bedrooms, updated the existing bath, and designed an addition that opened the home toward the pond after removing the deteriorating cinderblock garage. The new layout separates the parents’ and kids’ areas with an open living and kitchen space, a cozy dining space that is connected but still separate and a comfortable screened porch for enjoying the outdoors.
